Escape Academy looks to “capture the authentically mind-bending escape room experience” when it launches in June for Xbox One, as well as simultaneously joining Xbox Game Pass on day one.Follow in the footsteps of the legendary Escapists before you, as you attempt to traverse the Escape Academy, a training ground for the aforementioned Escapists, on a secret world. Escape Academy is developed by Coin Crew Games and is the first original title to be revealed under iam8bit Presents. You’ll need to work your way through the academy’s rooms by overcoming the deadly challenges found within until you uncover a mysterious threat at the end. “Our goal has always been bringing people together to play, whether that’s in arcades or at home,” says Coin Crew Games co-founder, Mike Mohammed Salyh. “As a studio, we’re rigorous about playtesting our designs early and often, a philosophy we pulled from our years developing games for the location-based entertainment space.”Escape Academy launches on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and PC as well as Xbox Game Pass in June.
