After months of work, Epic Games has launched its store on mobile. The Epic Games Store is now available on Android devices worldwide. To mark the occasion, Epic is rolling out some awesome rewards, free games and more.
Which Games Are Available on the Mobile Epic Games Store?
Fortnite, Fall Guys and Rocket League Sideswipe are the major games that Epic is throwing the spotlight on. Yep, Fall Guys is now playable on mobile and is free to download from the Epic Games Store.
If you grab the Epic Games Store app and any of their games on mobile, there are in-game challenges that will net you new cosmetics. There’s a Fortnite outfit complete with matching back bling, pickaxe and wrap and a new Fall Guys bean costume.
More stuff is up for grabs, including a Fall Guys-themed pickaxe for Fortnite and a gold vehicle trim you can use in Fortnite and Rocket League Sideswipe. These quests are mobile-exclusive though.
It’s Not Just About Their Big Three Games
Nearly 20 third-party games from different developers have joined the Epic Games Store on mobile. Also, they have kicked off the Free Games program for mobile. Dungeon of the Endless: Apogee is up for grabs on Android and iOS through the Epic Games Store app until February 20th.
And that’s not the only Playdigious game you can grab from the new store. Playdigious has also made two of their other games available on the Epic Store. They are Shapez and Evoland 2. In the coming weeks, they’re planning to add Cultist Simulator too.
Bloons TD 6 is also coming soon to the store. And while it’s monthly for now, Epic is planning to roll out free games weekly later this year.
Apple and Google have made it tricky to download third-party app stores, but I feel like Epic is pushing through. This move also makes gaming more accessible for everyone. What do you think? Comment and let us know.
