Edge Autonomy is excited to announce it will produce and deliver Penguin unmanned aerial vehicles to the U.S. Army. This partnership provides the Army with innovative unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and support, helping the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) stay ahead of adversarial developments in unmanned technologies.
Edge Autonomy has provided UAS solutions to the U.S. DoD and NATO allies for nearly 25 years. This order for the U.S. Army continues Edge Autonomy’s commitment to provide advanced, operationally proven unmanned technologies in support of the customer’s mission.
Edge Autonomy’s Penguin C UAS is a fully integrated, turnkey solution, capable of over 20 hours flight endurance. The Penguin B unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is a high-performance, semi-integrated small UAS available for final assembly and customization by UAV System Integrators.
“As a combat service veteran, I couldn’t be prouder of our company. We are honored to support the U.S. Army in this effort by providing unmanned systems to support the Army’s mission,” said Joshua Stinson, Edge Autonomy’s Chief Growth Officer. “We are committed to advancing unmanned capabilities and supporting the Army in its effort to solve complex national security problems. This effort is a major milestone and underscores our commitment to the U.S. Government and the company’s dedication to supporting the U.S. warfighter and the nation’s foreign partners against adversarial threats.”
John Purvis, Edge Autonomy’s Chief Executive Officer, further echoed the sentiment saying, “Edge Autonomy is proud to have been selected by the U.S. Army to support ongoing UAS efforts. This sale represents the U.S. Army’s continued recognition and trust in the capabilities and superior service provided by our company.
