EA Sports FC Could Be The New Name For FIFA, Suggests Trademark Applications

Electronic Arts announced last week that it was considering rebranding its FIFA series, and a new trademark application has now hinted that the venerable footie series could be renamed EA Sports FC.The publishing giant filed multiple trademarks for that very name with the UK Intellectual Property Office on October 1, and followed this up with another filing at he European Union Intellectual Property Office three days later.
