With several days until the official launch of EA FC 24, here’s all you need to know about EA FC’s Esports Ecosystem.
EA FC 24 will have two separate competition circuits running back-to-back, leading up to the FC Pro World Championship.
The first circuit is the EA FC Pro Open, an open circuit available to all competitive players. The FC Pro Open begins in October 2023 and will run through February 2024.
EA FC Pro Open
The FC Pro Open will be available in ten regions and have a cumulative prize money amount of $1 million across the five months of competition. Hopefuls must climb their way through the ranks of the online competitive ladder, with the top-performing players being able to qualify for regional online events.
The top-seeded players from all regions will then meet and clash in London for a chance to compete in the 8-week FC Pro Open.
Interested players can register for the FC Pro Open circuit here. Remember that FC Pro will only use the PlayStation 5 version of EA SPORTS FC 24. Interested viewers can watch weekly events through the official EA FC Esports Twitch channel here.
EA FC Pro Leagues
The FC Pro Leagues will be the grand stage for FC Esports. Beginning in February 2024 and running through May 2024, the top players in the FC Pro Leagues will be able to collaborate with some of the biggest FC names in the world. EA has partnered with various clubs, leagues, and federations, like the Premier League, CONMEBOL Libertadores, LALIGA, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, Serie A, MLS and more, to deliver the best football esports experience ever.
EA and their FC Pro Football League Partners will host various regional tentpole tournaments throughout the months, with players competing under the banners of some of the world’s most popular football clubs. Along with plenty of prize money up for grabs, FC Pro Leagues players can earn their spots in the FC Pro World Championship.
EA FC Pro World Championship
Kicking off in June 2024, 32 players will compete against one another to become the first FC Pro World Champion.
Four players from the FC Pro Open and 28 from the FC Pro Leagues will face off in group play, followed by a single-elimination bracket for their share of $1 million in prize money and the inaugural FC Pro World Championship.
