EA calls on players not to share Star Wars Jedi: Survivor spoilers following leak

If you’re looking forward to playing Star Wars Jedi: Survivor this week, you may want to avoid social media for the next several days as story spoilers are now running rampant online. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor launches for Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC on April 28th, and it appears that some fans have managed to get hold of the game before release and are now posting spoilers across social media. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor spoilers appear on social media EA has called on players to keep these spoilers to themselves. “No spoilers!” EA said in a tweet. “We’re beyond excited for everyone to experience Star Wars Jedi: Survivor this week! We ask that you please be mindful of others and avoid posting or sharing spoilers.”And remember, BD is watching!”Developers have also asked players not to spoil the experience for others. “Please, friends, don’t spoil the game,” wrote Respawn senior writer Pete Stewart. “We all worked very hard to create something that hopefully surprises and delights you all. I know a lot of people will be upset to see spoilers before they get to play, and for us, it’s REALLY disheartening to see as well. Be kind, y’all.”Andy Mcnamara, global director of integrated comms for shooters & Star Wars at Electronic Arts, said, “Please be respectful of the experience for others. Be safe out there, Jedi.”Over the next several days, make sure you’re browsing the net with caution, especially when it comes to websites such as Reddit, Twitter, and YouTube.
