Dying Light 2 players can now experience the free in-game event, Bloody Summer, which increases the game’s violence and rewards you with seasonal currency, new tools, and rare skins.Do you still have a few Dying Light 2: Stay Human achievements to mop up? Or maybe you’re still working your way through its New Game+ mode? Whatever your reasons for travelling to Villedor between now and July 7th, you’ll have a chance to cause even more carnage and earn new rewards thanks to the Bloody Summer event.Dying Light 2’s Bloody Summer event is available now until July 7thBloody Summer is free for all players and increases the game’s violence levels by making it easier to decapitate your enemies, slice off limbs, chop them in half, or pulverise them into mush. Hit reactors have also been amplified and ragdoll effects are more intense, thanks to a Hypermode ruleset. What will you get in return? Well, for cutting off just one enemy limb, you’ll be rewarded with Harper’s Token seasonal currency — Harper was introduced in Chapter 1: In the Footsteps of a Nightrunner. Ramping up your slashing and slicing exploits to remove 300 limbs from your enemies will see you outfitted with the Cutting Edge axe. By contributing to the 3,000,000 limb-removal community target, you’ll be rewarded with the Nightrunner Outfit. You’ll need a Techland GG account to claim this one, though, and as of writing the community has already chopped off more than nine million limbs, so you shouldn’t have much trouble earning the outfit after adding a couple of digits to the pile, since the goal has been surpassed already.Will you be slicing and dicing your way to riches during the Bloody Summer event?
