Duet Night Abyss is gearing up for another round of testing and has started the recruitment for its second closed beta test. It’s a fantasy action RPG coming soon to mobile. It’s getting published by Hero Games and developed by Pan Studio, and had its first CBT in January this year.
What’s the Time Period for the Duet Night Abyss Second Closed Beta Test?
The second closed beta test recruitment has kicked off today, May 13th and will run until June 2nd. The beta will be available in English, Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese. The devs have also released a new trailer for the CBT. Watch it right here.
To take part in this second closed beta test, you need to head over to the official website of Duet Night Abyss. There, you’ll need to fill out an official questionnaire to apply. Meanwhile, the devs are also hosting some competitions on social media, which is another way in.
What’s the Game Like?
Duet Night Abyss brings a weird blend of waifus and Warframe-like parkour. It starts off with a girl raised on an isolated island with her best friend and a bunch of tradesmen.
But then a military group kidnaps the friend and tosses the protagonist off a cliff. What follows is a grim, fast-paced dive into a larger world, with plenty of emotional gut punches.
Now, this phase is the final closed beta test. You’ll get to choose between a male or female protagonist and dive into a new arc titled Children From the Snowfield.
You’ll experience the events from both character perspectives. But instead of constantly switching between characters, you’ll summon up to two companions to assist in battle.
