DRONAMICS the world’s leading developer and operator of large cargo drones, announces the appointment of Roger Morris as Chief Product Officer (CPO), a new senior management team position, responsible for all customer and product activities across the business.
Roger has an enviable reputation in the delivery industry, having filled a variety of senior roles in Royal Mail Parcels and DHL Express, with extensive customer engagement, public appearances and international responsibilities. As Head of Royal Mail Parcels, Roger was responsible for the redesign and re-launch of Royal Mail’s parcel products, which deliver over half of market volume in the UK, Europe’s largest ecommerce market.  Making dramatic improvements in tracking, visibility and customer communication, he also led Royal Mail’s marketing and channel strategy and developed new web- and API-based customer solutions.
In Cemex and DHL Express, Roger led international marketing strategy programs and supported the integration of acquired businesses into Deutsche Post DHL. With M.Sc. and B.Sc. qualifications in Marketing and Finance, he joins from Flash Forward Consulting, where he supported logistics providers and users on ecommerce delivery strategy, services and technology.
This is an important milestone for us, and we are thrilled by the talent we are attracting to our organization that is embracing our vision to democratize airfreight. We will continue enhancing our experienced management team who will provide additional expertise to deliver our first commercial flight in a near future.”
Svilen Rangelov, Co-Founder & CEO
Roger Morris, CPO at DRONAMICS, said: “I’m very much looking forward to being part of the team that will launch the next-generation logistics networks for e-commerce, pharma, agriculture shipments, special cargo, and spare parts. I am excited to be involved in another game-changing innovation within the express logistics industry”.
Now, more than ever before, it’s vital for countries to ensure uninterrupted trade and supply lines with their neighbors no matter what, and our international droneport network will allow just that. In Europe, Canada and Australia our 2,500 km range can easily cover the whole region from a single warehouse, but we’re actively working towards launching worldwide as well.
