Drake had the perfect reaction to LeBron’s game-winner (Video)

Of course Drake stole some of the spotlight after LeBron James daggered the Warriors on Wednesday night. 

We’ve all cycled through just about every nature is healing joke we can think of, which makes it even more perfect that Drake is finally arriving at one.

Let’s spare the hyperbole: Wednesday’s Lakers-Warriors game lived up to the hype. You know when you find some extra fries at the bottom of the bag? That’s what the play-in game was, and everyone got more than what we thought we were paying for.

That includes Drake.

Of course he was sitting courtside at Staples Center, and of course he was there to nab some of the spotlight during the game’s biggest moment.

With the shot and game clock winding down on a critical possession for the Lakers, LeBron James hit a catch-and-shoot three that ended up daggering the Warriors.

What would our first clutch moment of the NBA Playoffs be without Drake somehow being involved? Add in Michael B. Jordan, who was there alongside Drake, and we truly have our first ”normal” NBA Playoff moment of the season.

LeBron hit his three pointer after taking a foul from Draymond Green that sent him tumbling to the court clutching his eye. Despite “seeing three rims”, as LeBron so adequately sold it after the game, he drained the catch-and-shoot that doubled as a total prayer as the shot clock was expiring.

The shot also came after a more immediate foul called on Draymond that was much more questionable than the one that supposedly blinded LeBron. That foul was an offensive foul that officials deemed an illegal screen on Wesley Matthews, something that Green and Steve Kerr took exception to.

That was very close to being the late-game moment we were all talking about, but then LeBron reminded us of what gear he can kick it to this time of year. And it also allowed Drake to remind us that when the spotlight is on the NBA Playoffs, you’d better save room on the stage for
