Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot has officially passed 8 million copies sold, publisher Bandai Namco and developer CyberConnect2 announced.Kakarot was in many ways a return to previous Dragon Ball games, and was reminiscent of the Dragon Ball fighting games that players loved back in the day.Now more than four years since it launched it’s hit 8 million copies sold, ahead of the next Dragon Ball fighting game that’s due to arrive this coming October with Dragon Ball Sparking Zero. “Over 8 millions of you have shown your support for DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT,” Bandai Namco said in a tweet announcing the milestone. “Thank you for helping us reach this great milestone – we hope you look forward to what’s coming next!The latest DLC expansion for Kakarot was praised by fans and critics far more than it’s previous DLC’s, and at the moment seems like it’s the perfect capping-off point for Kakarot, which means it’s a great time to jump into Kakarot if you’ve not done so yet.Source – [Bandai Namco]
