Today, we’re happy to discuss our latest Dotabuff App patch. This update addresses a few often-requested items as well as some tweaks to improve performance.
Thank you to everyone who has submitted feedback. We’re committed to improving the Dotabuff App experience and empowering players with the data they want to boost their own performance.
The changes in the current patch include:
- Enabling resizing and maximizing the app
- Additional language support
- Auto-update
- Squashing a performance bug
Let’s dig into the details:
We’ve received a lot of feedback asking for the ability to resize the Dotabuff App window.
The App now supports resizing as well as maximizing the window. You will be able to scale the App to suit your needs and screen resolution.
You can find the new Scale options under the Settings menu.
Another popular request has been to make the Dotabuff App available in languages other than English. We are pleased to offer the Dotabuff App in English, Russian, and Portuguese. This work has been ongoing for some time, and we’re looking to add additional languages in the future.
In order to better serve our community, we’ve implemented a notification system for when a new version of the App is available. This will ensure that you always know if there is an updated version available for you to download.
This update also includes a performance improvement. Some players were experiencing a desync bug in the App that resulted in outdated module data being displayed. This update should ensure data is current and consistently relevant, giving players all the information they need to play their best match.
Thank you to everyone who provided feedback and has reached out to us regarding their experiences with App. We’re so excited to see so many players adopting the Dotabuff App into their Dota 2 matches.
Please continue to send your feedback – requests for new features as well as bug reports – using the in-App feedback function.
You can download the Dotabuff App here. Everyone can choose three of the available five modules. Dotabuff Plus subscribers have access to a fourth module.
