Doors Floor 2 Items
With a new update come new items to collect while wandering through Floor 2. Some are rare, others are more common, but they all have their own uses.
Straplight
- Purchased at the Pre-Run Shop for 100 Knobs
It’s a flashlight, but different. Well, it’s not overly different, but it’s useful! It functions as a normal flashlight, but you attach it to your person instead of holding it in your hand. This allows you to interact with things, and equip other items whilst still lighting up the surrounding area.
The one problem with the Straplight is that its position is fixed so you cannot aim it at a specific spot. It also has a smaller radius and a shorter battery life than any other flashlight in Doors.
Battery Pack
- Can be found in lockers and toolboxes
It stores 4 batteries at once! It’s a great item to use when you have a flashlight, especially one that requires batteries more often. It works like the Bandage pack and is an additional storage option.
Possessed Candle
- It’s an upgraded version of the Candle item from Floor 1, however, you need to place it into the rift for it to become ‘possessed’
The Possessed Candle emits a blue/purple flame and lasts longer than the standard version. The radius of the light is larger too!
Shears
- Can be found in gardening lockers
While they don’t have a major purpose before Door 150, you can use them to cut the vines off of chests that you come across. In the Door 150 level, they are a must-have item, as they cut through blocked shortcuts. However, they break after using them 5 times.
Bandage Pack
- Purchased at the Pre-Run Shop for 100 Knobs
- Can be found in lockers and toolboxes
The Bandage Pack is a separate storage item that allows you to store a total of 10 bandages at once. Think of it as an extra storage bag inside your inventory! You can use bandages to heal yourself and other players.
Alarm Clock
- While it was added in the Floor 2 update, it’s only available on Floor 1
The Alarm Clock is mainly used in Door 50 for the Figure boss. You wind the clock up, with the noise distracting the Figure entity before it destroys the item.
Bulklight
- Purchased at the Pre-Run Shop for 250 Knobs
- Can be found in lockers and toolboxes
A large flashlight with a longer battery life! Its radius is wider and the light itself is much brighter compared to its counterparts. You can use the Bulklight to stun Giggles but beware that the individual batteries only last around 15 seconds due to the light’s overall power.
Laser Pointer
- Can be found in chests that are covered in vines and toolboxes (rare)
While the Laser Pointer is another item that requires batteries, you can use it to stun Giggles from far away thanks to its large range. They have one of the longest battery lives in the game, probably due to their smaller size, but it means you don’t have to worry too much about finding extras any time soon! It’s a great item to use when distracting Gloombats too.
Glow Stick
- Can be found on tables and in lockers and toolboxes
A Glow Stick can only be used once but it’s a quick way to get a decent amount of light when traversing through a dark area. Gloombats can break Glow Sticks though, and the light dims over time. While it serves no extra purpose, the Glow Sticks come in a variety of colours.
Your inventory holds a stack of 10 Glow Sticks at a time, which is handy for when you need to stun a Giggles. Some enemies can be distracted by Glow Sticks if you throw them on the ground due to the faint sound they make.
Barrel of Starlight
- Mostly spawns at the end of a level
It’s a better version of the Vial of Starlight and the Bottle of Starlight! The barrel is a massive item that your character holds with both hands. Whilst holding the barrel, your speed is increased and you get an HP/Shield buff, with a limit of 4 uses.
