Donaustahl, a leading defense manufacturer, today announced it has received approval from the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action of Germany to produce and export its advanced MAUS drones.
The first recipient of these cutting-edge unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) will be Ukraine’s Kraken special reconnaissance and sabotage unit, a component of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense. This strategic partnership underscores Germany’s commitment to supporting Ukraine’s defense capabilities amidst ongoing regional tensions.
The MAUS platform, also known as DS-M-V1A1, is a versatile quadcopter designed for both reconnaissance and strike missions. Its advanced capabilities will significantly enhance Ukraine’s operational effectiveness.
