It also aims to bring “improved performance and stability on Xbox,” but unfortunately, Xbox Series X|S players are reporting frame rate drops since the hotfix was released. The patch notes for Disney Dreamlight Valley’s hotfix show that it aimed for “improved performance and stability on Xbox.” Over on the Disney Dreamlight Valley subreddit, however, players are noting framerate drops since the hotfix. The update adding Scar and a new Star Path seemed to make the game feel a lot smoother, but Xbox players are noting that the gameplay now feels like it did before the big content update, with a “distinct drop in framerate” that players have described as “a serious downgrade” and “absolutely horrendous.” The hotfix addresses a number of other aspects; it removes the exhaustion effect, adds a seizure warning to the game’s “boot sequence,” and targets other bugs, such as the issue which stopped villagers from accepting meals in Remy’s restaurant. The Disney Dreamlight Valley team has been quick to address player concerns, and again reminds players to head to Customer Care to report any other issues. The game is also currently experiencing loading issues — these are already being looked at, and the devs have planned “in-game compensation” to make up for any inconvenience.
