Conor McGregor shared a series of photos with long-time music artist, Justin Bieber, poolside while recovering from surgery.

Former UFC double-champion, Conor McGregor, is taking in the benefits of rest and relaxation post-surgery in Beverly Hills, California. In a new post on Instagram, McGregor, Forbes’ highest-paid athlete in 2020, was seen with popular music artist, Justin Bieber. Both men seemed to exchange pleasantries and enjoy the beautiful summer weather while poolside enjoying McGregor’s Proper Twelve whiskey.

“JB and Big Foot, we rule Beverly Hills! God bless my brother! Backed by the highest power! Huge congrats on your Balen Ciaga campaign and your Drew House! Can’t wait to get to the show tomorrow! Legends Unite,” McGregor wrote.

Bieber, a longtime UFC fan, was one of many celebrities who attended UFC 264 on July 10 in Las Vegas. Of course, the outcome didn’t go according to plan for the megastar, but the recognizable names were on display for the promotion’s biggest event of the year thus far.

Bieber also posted with McGregor and was encouraged by McGregor’s resilience through the entire injury, leaving a piece of advice for McGregor as he begins the road back to recovery and a potential return to the UFC in the near future.

“Breakfast of champions [with Proper Twelve], Bieber wrote. “It’s about how you get back up”

Conor McGregor suffered a torn tibia in his loss to Dustin Poirier

McGregor fought Dustin Poirier in the main event of UFC 264. In front of a sold-out T-Mobile Arena that featured the UFC’s first full-capacity event in its home state of Nevada since the pandemic began, Poirier soundly won the first round before a freak injury from McGregor forced the cage-side doctor to stop the fight between rounds.

With the win, Poirier will now fight Charles Oliveira for the lightweight title later in the year. On the other hand, McGregor’s timetable is uncertain, though only time will tell.
