Devas of Creation Maple Wood Guide
Maple Wood sits scattered around the vast map of Virdis, best used for crafting stronger weaponry and armour pieces. This uncommon rarity harvest requires a player level 1 in the Lumbering skill to obtain, and you’ll be able to chop it down with your Beginner’s Axe. That said, if you want to improve your harvesting time, I’d recommend crafting a stronger Axe as it helps out tons in the long run.
To recognise the Starfall Maple, look out for a tall slender tree, similar to the grand Oak Tree, but with a thinner trunk and more linear leaf growth. When knocking down a Starfall Maple Tree, you’ll gain between 2-4 of its wood pieces and 500 Lumber Mastery EXP. Selling your collection fetches 17 Essence per piece, cheapskates!
Maple Wood Locations
Luckily, Starfall Maple Wood is a relatively easy material to obtain when you know where to find it. Unlike the more elusive Palm or Celestial Trees, the Maple Wood isn’t located in late-game areas with higher-level mobs.
To find Maple Wood, head out of the East Exit from The Town of Virdis. Then, follow the path towards the Floran Village settlement. Nestled between these two safe zones resides an abundance of Starfall Maple trees guarded by the Level 8 mushroom people known as Toxic Warriors, Toxic Snipers and Toxic Wizards.
