When is the next Delta Force playtest? The beloved Delta Force series is back with Delta Force, a new free-to-play title. Deemed the “next generation of Delta Force”, and previously titled Delta Force: Hawk Ops, the upcoming game combines classic campaigns with new ones and a range of multiplayer modes.
The Delta Force release date is still a way away, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get a look at the latest installment in the classic FPS game series before then. Despite still being in the early stages of development, developer Team Jade has already invited some players to try out the free PC game in an early alpha. Read on to learn what we know about any upcoming Delta Force alpha or beta tests.
Delta Force Hawk Ops alpha
The Delta Force alpha test went live on Tuesday, August 6, and ended on September 8, 2024. A Delta Force demo was then made available during Steam Next Fest between October 14 and 22, 2024.
While the Steam Next Fest demo was fully open, players must have been invited to the alpha to play, but there were a few ways to gain access. While the Delta Force Hawk Ops playtests and demos so far haven’t included access to the Black Hawk Down campaign remake, or any single-player modes for that matter, the game’s two primary multiplayer modes have been soft launched.
In Hazard Operation, deploy with two other players and a pre-selected loadout to find and extract with valuable loot and resources. Naturally, you’ll be going against other player teams, but you should keep your eye out for AT-controlled enemies as well in this PvPvE extraction mode.
All we really want to tell you about Havoc Warfare, meanwhile, is that an official blog post calls it “bombastic”. If that’s not enough to go on, though, this is a huge 32 v 32 mode played on massive maps (two in the alpha), and your goal is to take control of various areas of the map.
Future Delta Hawks betas
There is no Delta Force beta planned at the moment. Delta Force isn’t due for release until 2025, with an early access release coming between now and then. However, given that players have been invited to play a few times now, there is every possibility that a beta test will take place. We’ll let you know if and when this is announced.
