EA and Respawn have shared the latest instalment of Stories from the Outlands, which features Mad Maggie — who will be the new Legend introduced with Apex Legends: Defiance on February 8th. “It’s time for Mad Maggie to face justice for her crimes. But when you can’t be innocent and you won’t be guilty, what fate lies in store?” The devs tell us that “For all her crimes, Mad Maggie’s been condemned to fight to the death in the Games.” Mad Maggie arrives as the new Legend with Defiance, the first three weeks of which will see new limited-time mode, Control, tasking you to “Select your loadout and drop in to a 9v9 experience where teams battle to hold control points with infinite respawn.” Lastly, there’s a hint that “something’s different” about Olympus — just what that difference is we don’t yet know, but the full Defiance launch trailer will be revealed on January 27th, so we’ll hopefully find out then.Apex Legends: Defiance kicks off on February 8th, with a full launch trailer to be revealed on January 27th.
