However, commenters quickly realized the issue was down to the Quick Resume feature of the Xbox Series X|S, which can cause trouble, and that exiting the game and making sure it wasn’t in Quick Resume before loading back in was a way around it. The same issue was noted by Windows Central’s Jez Corden on X, who also noted that players should remove Death Stranding from Quick Resume before trying to get back in.
