Eric Baptizat has been named as the director behind the Dead Space remake, having previously helmed Ubisoft’s critically-acclaimed Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.Having worked at Ubisoft for 16 years, which saw him involved in multiple Assassin’s Creed games, Baptizat joined up with EA Motive earlier this year to work on an unannounced project — which is now confirmed to be Dead Space. He’s joined by ex-Ubisoft developer, Roman Campos-Oriola, who served as creative director on For Honor.Dead Space remake is currently in development for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S, and has yet to attract a release date.
