About The Survivalist
The Survivalist is a bought class in Dead Rails. Its passive ability means that the lower your health, the more damage you’ll dish out, becoming an offensive powerhouse at low health.

How To Unlock The Survivalist
You can buy the Survivalist class from the Tailor’s shop in the Dead Rails lobby. It costs 75 Bonds. Bonds are earned in a variety of different ways, which we’ve listed below.
- Completing runs.
- A rare find when looting buildings.
- Found in vaults in ruined banks.
- Earned by completing challenges from the Lobby’s challenge board.
Is The Survivalist Worth It?
The Survivalist is one of the more expensive classes out there. So is it worth it? If you want to take a more combat-focused role in a team, it’s definitely a decent choice. The class comes with a better melee weapon by default, and the passive doesn’t have any downsides. It’s less specialized than the passive of the Priest, which is the same cost. It also doesn’t come with the disadvantages of Zombie and Vampire.
All in all it’s a solid choice for team and solo play, though we wouldn’t say it’s the best Dead Rails class. It’s probably worth the money.
