Find out which European and NA East Duos are in the mix in our FNCS Chapter 3 Season 1 Finals recap.
The competitive conclusion to Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 is underway. Fifty Duos in each of the game’s seven regions are vying for a share of over $3M USD and the elusive Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS) Axe of Champions. Finalists in Europe and NA East have concluded the first day of action, where Duos competed in the first six of 12 total matches.
There’s a lot to digest after day one, so let’s look at how the leaderboards look heading into the final six games.
Europe
Pinq & Anas Hold the Lead with Two Victory Royales

Llama Homestead owners Rix Pinq and GUILD Anas had themselves a day, earning two Victory Royales, 16 eliminations, and 156 points. There was no doubt these two players would thrive under the conditions of landing uncontested at one of this season’s most vital areas.
As many expected, Pinq and Anas controlled the high-ground in two matches–both of which resulted in victories. Despite winning two games, they sit only two points ahead of second-place; a lot can happen over the following six matches.
Grolzz & Klown Shine on Day One
2nd day one, work ain’t done 😈
We are crazy, @klownlol is the best player 🔥 pic.twitter.com/QVVosErYvm— Aopik Grolzz (@Grolzz) March 5, 2022
First-time FNCS Finalists Grolzz and Klown overcame their lack of experience on day one and somehow hung with the top talents. This Duo claimed a condensed area between The Daily Bugle and Sleepy Sound as their destination–a decision that made all the difference.
Grolzz and Klown’s positioning each game worked in their favor. While they did not earn a Victory Royale, this rising team made good use of the inflated elimination points and led the field with 24. Grolzz and Klown are in a solid position but it’ll take an equally impressive effort to claim the Axe of Champions.

Pinq and Klown’s teams respectively sit atop the leaderboard, but this FNCS Final is anyone’s game. The current top 15 Duos stand just one solid game away from shaking the leaderboard. Those names include four-time FNCS Champion Falcon TaySon, former winners MG kiryache, FS Stormyrite, GUILD Hen, Queasy, BL Kami and GXR teeq.
Everyone atop the pack has a realistic chance to win. We’ll have to see how that plays out tomorrow.

Two-time FNCS winners SEN Bugha and TNA Mero executed a consistent set of matches on day one. The two players rounded out the first six games with 188 points, including 27 eliminations and an average placement of 10.17.
While they did not win a match, Bugha and Mero managed four fourth-place finishes. The leaderboard is close, but these two competitors are in an ideal position heading into the second day.
