In a separate FAQ post, the team said it “made the difficult decision to shut down Dauntless due to the negative public reception of TK and subsequent decline of active players.”Once the server shutdown strikes, all of the Dauntless achievements will be discontinued. Unfortunately, the Entered the Gauntlet achievement, which asks you to earn a Crest from Gauntlet mode, has already been marked as discontinued, so if you were thinking of going for the base list completion, the 1,000G will be out of reach unless you’ve already popped that achievement. That being said, Dauntless has received 13 free title updates since its launch back in 2019, and there is another 1,000 Gamerscore up for grabs across those DLC packs. Without that one discontinued achievement, you are looking at a mammoth completion estimate of 360 to 480 hours, so this one would require a fair amount of dedication to get done before the server closure.
