One of the many games coming to Game Pass in October, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, is now available to play with Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Cloud Gaming, which means console gamers can now finally start unlocking the Warhammer 40,000: Darktide achievements.Similar to Left 4 Dead, Darktide first came to PC Game Pass back in November last year, but it was met with rafts of negative player reviews due to its poor performance, progression, and playability. While the console release of the game was always coming at a later date, developer Fatshark announced it would delay the Xbox Series X|S release of Darktide after the PC version “fell short” of meeting expectations. Now, following several updates, Darktide appears to be in a good place, with the majority of recent Steam reviews coming in as “Mostly Positive.”From the team behind Vermintide 2, Warhammer 40,000 Darktide is a PvE co-op first-person shooter that tasks you (and your squad) with taking back the city of Teritum after a mysterious force tries to take control of the city. Mixing both melee combat and gunplay, you will need to shoot, slice, and smash your way through hordes of bloodthirsty enemies to regain control of Teritum. Microsoft recently announced that three more games are also set to join Game Pass over the next two weeks and that six games will leave the service soon, including the delightful Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion.
