A new bullet hell from an indie developer junpathos is coming soon to Android. It’s called Danmaku Battle Panache and it’s landing on Android on December 27th. It’s up for pre-registration right now on Google Play.
Not Just Another Bullet Hell
Danmaku Battle Panache is a competitive bullet hell with deck-building mechanics. It’s like blending a card game with a neon storm of projectiles. The game mixes the usual heart-pounding bullet dodging with some brainy strategy.
You get over 50 bullet cards to choose from and can build a deck of four to customize your chaos-inflicting style. You can toss waves of spiralling bullets at your rival while they scramble to dodge and retaliate.
There are online battles as well as a single-player story mode. But the real action is going head-to-head with other players around the world. You’ll dodge, counter and upgrade your deck mid-battle by grabbing experience items.
Danmaku Battle Panache also gives you a cast of more than 10 characters to choose from. Each one comes with their own bullet patterns and special abilities. Some might pepper the screen with pinprick lasers, while others might send out swirling vortexes of doom.
And each character has a story mode too. There’s some lore about a sealed fairy king, a thousand years of peace and a mysterious shadowy force. You’ll have to dive into the game to know more about it.
In the meantime, you can pre-register for Danmaku Battle Panache on the Google Play Store. It’s free to play and launches next week post Christmas.
