Cyberpunk parkour hit Ghostrunner 2 gets final DLC one year after launch

2023 was a heck of a year for games – we had Baldur’s Gate 3, Alan Wake 2, Starfield, and plenty more. One of the best and most intriguing titles released that year was Ghostrunner 2, a speed-filled slaughterfest in a cyberpunk, neon-drenched city. To celebrate the anniversary of its launch, developer One More Level has released what is set to be the game’s final DLC, along with a few freebies for anyone who owns the game.

The appropriately named Anniversary Pack for Ghostrunner 2 is entirely cosmetic, with three new skins for swords and your hands, along with a new look for your motorcycle. This means if you’ve been wanting to feel fresher when out there running, jumping, and killing through this parkour game, you’ll now be able to slay in style. The S4FETY VE5T, BL4CK P3ARL, N3XT LEV3L, and Design Ghost skins are all part of this pack, which you can grab either by itself or in the game’s season pass.

In addition to the contents of this DLC, all Ghostrunner 2 owners are going to be granted a few extra cosmetics to celebrate one year since launch. Two sword and hand skins are heading your way along with one for your motorcycle. Some of these cosmetics are inspired by the developer of the game, with one coming from the Castlevania-like title Bloodstained Ritual of the Night. So if you’ve ever fancied running around a cyberpunk city with a stained glass sword in your hand, this is your perfect chance.

What’s interesting about this DLC, however, is that developer One More Level is positioning it as the game’s last. While support may continue with patches and updates, this looks to be the final piece of DLC fans can expect for Ghostrunner 2.

The Anniversary Pack is out now for Ghostrunner 2, and you can also save 70% on the Brutal Edition until Monday November 4, which includes all DLC as part of the season pass. Head over to Steam to check it out for yourself, and to see if you’re ready to start slicing, dicing, and running really fast.
