One of the many new features introduced with Cyberpunk 2077’s Update 2.1 was the option to travel via metro. This was a nice touch, but what makes it even better is that doing so gives you the chance to encounter Johnny Silverhand’s take on the Sad Keanu Reeves meme.The meme in question came to life from a picture taken of Keanu Reeves in 2010 by photographer Ron Asadorian. It shows Reeves looking a bit down, which we all hate to see, while munching some food on a bench. Luckily, it turned out he was just hungry and thinking and “had some stuff going on.” By then, the meme was unstoppable.Now, it’s made its way into Cyberpunk 2077. Over on X and the Cyberpunk 2077 subreddit, players are discovering that Keanu Reeves’ character Johnny Silverhand occasionally morphs into Sad Keanu if you ride the metro system round Night City. As one poster pointed out, CD Projekt Red even included the pigeons from the original pic, although they seem to be origami in Cyberpunk 2077. This little inclusion wasn’t on the patch notes for the update, but the devs seem happy people are finding it for themselves. Quest designer Paweł Sasko replied to the tweet above with just the “🤭” emoji.If Panam’s more your jam, that update also lets you hang out with her and other romance options.
