The Cyberpunk 2077 Relict Perks is a new addition that comes with the Phantom Liberty DLC. Learn everything there is to know about them.
The Phantom Liberty Expansion has been a success for CD Project Red and Cyberpunk 2077 as a whole. It’s nice to see the game going out on a high note instead of the disaster that was its infamous 2020 launch.
The Expansion as well as the new 2.0 Patch introduced a slew of new updates, gameplay features, and more but exclusive to the Expansion Pack is the Relict Perks. Powerful abilities are learned not through Perk points but through particular nodes you have to find in the new zone of Dogtown.
We tell you everything you need to know about them as well as which ones to go for depending on your build.
Cyberpunk 2077 Relict Perks
The new Relict Perks are unlocked once you enter the Phantom Liberty expansion. These give you access to powerful new abilities that can seriously augment your gameplay. The only way to get Relict Perks is by finding special terminals in Dogtown which will each net you a new point.
Jailbreak
Jailbreak is the Perk for any of your Cyberware fanatics out there. It significantly enhances the abilities of your Arm Cyberware. This perk costs 3 points and allows you to charge up your various abilities. After you can branch out Perks relating to all 4 types of Arm Cyberware which augments their abilities even further.
Emergency Cloaking
This Perk is for anyone who wants to avoid combat or reset the playing field. It augments your Optical Camo cyberwar and allows you to exit battle without any repercussions. Its follow-up Perk makes sneaking around even easier, letting you dash out of the enemy’s line of sight to avoid getting spotted.
Vulnerability Analytics
Out of all the Perks, this is the one. Vulnerability Analytics adds a new way to deal critical damage without landing headshots. And if you deal enough damage to one of those vulnerable spots on an enemy, you’ll even have the chance to deal splash damage to surrounding enemies.
Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty Relic Point Locations
You get 6 of the 15 Relict points during Phantom Liberty’s main campaigns. 3 points will be made available to you at the start of the Dog Eat Dog quest which leads you into Dogtown. You’ll gain 3 more points during the Birds with Broken Wing quest.
The other points are acquired via terminals which you can find all over Dogtown. Most of them are fairly easy to spot since the screen distortion effect that usually pops up when Johnny is in a cutscene will also be present. But here is a list of all the terminal locations just in case.
1 – Barghest Stronghold
The Terminal can be found just at the end of a tunnel in a control room. Just make sure to follow the noise and screen distortions before you head into the larger chamber and get into a fight.
2 – Hideout Kress Street
You can find the Terminal right next to the fast travel point closest to the Hideout.
3 – Massdrive Buidling
You’ll notice that the Massdrive is another Stronghold filled with enemies. The way to the Relict Terminal is relatively easy though, simply find the elevator and go all the way up, then hit up the room to your left to find the Terminal.
4 – Abandoned Parkade
Hit the second floor of the Parkade and follow the beeping and headache-inducing Relict effects close to the set of stairs leading up to the second floor.
5 – Underpass
This Relict Terminal can be found close to the locations where you first meet up with Solomon Reed. Simply hop over the barricade and hook up to the Terminal.
6 – Destroyed Apartment
Here you simply need to climb to the top next to the pyramid and the Terminal is yours. But be careful, the place is littered with mines.
7. Luxor High Wellness Spa
In theory, you only have to head inside and grab your well-deserved Relict Terminal. You’ll have to contest with the Voodoo Boys loitering around inside. You find the terminal hugging one of the walls next to a pile of rubble.
8 – Apartments
You’ll find the Terminal on the second floor of the apartment building. Look out for the set of stairs that get you onto the bridge and it should come in sight.
9 – EBM Petrochem Stadium
You can grab this Terminal as soon as you start your Dogtown adventurers. simply head to the northern part of the stadium and look out for a football player’s stature.
And that sums up everything you need to know about the Relict Terminals and the Relict Perks as a whole. For more on Cyberpunk check out our Story Recap, How to Enter the Phantom Liberty Expansion, and what all those New Perks and Skills do.
