The next-gen version of Cyberpunk 2077 is finally here, and a PS5 demo is available for those who want to give it a shot. Once the five hours have elapsed, players can purchase the game and carry over their save if they wish to continue their adventure. How long will the Cyberpunk 2077 trial be available? Those who want to take advantage of the Cyberpunk 2077 trial on PS5 only have 30 days to do so. The offer ends on March 20, 2022. As for why the trial is only available for a limited time, the official site reads:The next-gen trial is part of the launch campaign surrounding Patch 1.5. We believe 30 days is ample time for enough opinions, reviews, and discussion to be available for anyone interested in Cyberpunk 2077 on next-gen consoles following the immediate launch period of this version of the game.During the demo, players can make as much progress as they can in five hours. No areas are blocked, and no quests or content are gated. After that, the save will transfer to the full version if you decide to purchase it.Patch 1.5, which was released alongside the next-gen upgrade, brings major fixes and gameplay changes to Cyberpunk 2077. Many player complaints have been addressed, and almost every gameplay system has seen improvements, bug fixes, and adjustments. We haven’t had an opportunity to compare it to the launch version, but the patch notes paint a promising story. It’s been over a year since Cyberpunk 2077 was released to massive criticism. Performance and bugs were so bad that it was delisted from the PlayStation Store for six months, and CD Projekt RED’s reputation took a huge blow. Hopefully, the next-gen versions and the improvements made in update 1.5 will help players enjoy this flawed but ambitious title. In other news, the System Shock remake might not release for a while, and Techland will continue working on fixes for Dying Light 2.
