Na’Vi vs Vitality
The Grand Finals was nothing short of an exhilarating action between the two in-form teams in the game. Natus Vincere started off with a win on Dust 2 in a 16-10 battle against Team Vitality. However, the French were quick to reply with an assuring win of 6-16 on Inferno. The third match was on Nuke, where Na’Vi came on top with a score of 16-11, but Vitality didn’t give up and took the fourth match on Overpass 7-16 in their favor. The last and deciding match on Mirage went Na’Vi’s way, where they defeated Vitality in a 16-14 close fight.
What Does The Win Mean For Na’Vi & Vitality?
Not only did Na’Vi win $195,000 in prize money, but their consistency and wins throughout the calendar year have also won them the third Season of the Intel Grand Slam. The Ukrainian squad has won a $1 million bonus for the same. Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev has been the top player in CS:GO. The 23-year-old won the MVP in the competition, proving his dedication and mastery in the game.
Team Vitality’s bout in the Grand Finals was the best the team achieved. Their run in the competition was an outstanding display of skill, teamwork and resolve. As the runners-up, the team won $80,000 and an important milestone with future majors in the line.
