Crash Bandicoot 5 Was Cancelled At Toys For Bob, Claims Former Concept Artist

Nicholas Kole, a former artist with developer Toys for Bob, has claimed that the studio cancelled a fifth Crash Bandicoot game.Writing on X over the weekend, Kole revealed that a project they had been working on at another studio had been shelved, which was known as Project Dragon. Naturally, this sparked fans to question if this was related to Spyro the Dragon, to which Kole confirmed it wasn’t. However, they did reveal that a version of Crash Bandicoot 5 had been shelved.“It is not Spyro, but some day folks will hear about the Crash 5 that never was, and it’s gonna break hearts,” adding in another reply that Project Dragon and Crash 5 were “two totally separate cancelled projects at two different studios.”Related Content — Upcoming PS5 Games 2024: The Best PS5 Games Coming Soon Toys for Bob spear-headed the Crash revival with the release of Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy, and went to to develop the well-received Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time.
