Free Play Days is back once again, giving Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox Live Gold subscribers the chance to check out a selection of games for free over the next few days. This weekend, Control, Hunting Simulator 2, and The Elder Scrolls Online are free-to-play up until Monday.ControlControlAfter a secretive agency in New York is invaded by an otherworldly threat, you become the new Director struggling to regain Control. From developer Remedy Entertainment, this supernatural 3rd person action-adventure will challenge you to master the combination of supernatural abilities, modifiable loadouts, and reactive environments while fighting through a deep and unpredictable world.Hunting Simulator 2 Xbox Series X|S and Xbox OneHunting Simulator 2 Xbox Series X|SWith your hunting dog by your side, explore the Texan desert and forests of Colorado and Europe as you track down 33 animal species. Join over 18 million players in the award-winning online multiplayer RPG and experience an ever-expanding story in a persistent Elder Scrolls world. Optimized for the Xbox Series X|S with Console Enhanced, bringing a new level of fidelity and performance—free for all ESO players. Control recently left Xbox Game Pass, so if you didn’t quite finish exploring the Oldest House, now is your chance to go back and unlock any remaining achievements you might have left. For those looking to start Control, the base game will take you around 35 hours to complete. Also free-to-play this weekend is Hunting Simulator 2, which we can’t give you a completion estimate for because hardly anyone has completed it. However, if you’re in the mood for shooting some wildlife this weekend, just be aware that the game’s achievement list does appear to involve a lot grinding, so take that into consideration before starting this one. Finally, we have The Elder Scrolls Online, which is free-to-play up until Tuesday thanks to an ESO Free Play Event. ZeniMax says that this Free Play Event gives you access to the “ESO base game (including four classes, 23 story zones, Battlegrounds and Alliance War PvP, and more) and the Morrowind DLC (Vvardenfell zone).”Will you be checking out any of these games over the weekend? Let us know!
