Conor McGregor clearly still has a grudge against Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Former UFC lightweight champions Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov will more than likely never see eye-to-eye, after years of intense back-and-forth along with the lead-up to their fight at UFC 229. It’s arguably one of the most heated rivalries in the history of not just the UFC, but also the sport of MMA in general.

But McGregor took things to a new level in a recent Twitter rant, threatening to eat Nurmagomedov’s children and accusing him of not being a good father.

This isn’t anything new for McGregor, who has taken very personal shots at both Poirier and Nurmagomedov in recent weeks. Following his devastating leg injury at UFC 264, McGregor mocked Poirier’s wife and threatened to kill him inside of the octagon before the fight at the ceremonial weigh-ins.

McGregor responded to Nurmagomedov’s recent appearance on Mike Tyson’s podcast in an extremely dark fashion.

“I wanna eat his children!!!” McGregor tweeted. “When’s the last time he’s even seen them actually? His wife? Mother? How bout you go spend some time with your kids and family for a change and keep my name out of your mouth [before] you get trapped somewhere again, you [might not] be so lucky next time.”

The bad blood between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov is getting darker by the minute

Fans and critics alike quickly responded to McGregor’s rant accordingly, roasting the UFC fan-favorite for taking things too far in his latest series of trash talk. He’s currently recovering from a fractured tibia he suffered at UFC 264 in the trilogy bout with Poirier and is expected to miss at least the rest of 2021.

With Nurmagomedov retired and McGregor barely hanging on to his spot among the UFC’s elite, a rematch between the two inside of the octagon doesn’t seem likely. But one thing is for sure, the dark atmosphere surrounding their relationship doesn’t seem to be fading away anytime soon.
