Conor McGregor took aim at Daniel Cormier on Twitter during UFC 265 in Houston, TX.

Former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion Conor McGregor openly mocked Daniel Cormier on Twitter during the UFC 265 pay-per-view in Houston, TX.

Cormier is a part of the broadcast team alongside play-by-play man Jon Anik and former bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz. He is widely regarded as one of the best voices in the fight game when it comes to analysis and overall energy during UFC broadcasts.

But McGregor doesn’t think very highly of Cormier, as apparent in a recent tweet in which he mocked him for a picture that was recently shared of him cageside ahead of UFC 265.

“A cry for help if I’ve ever seen one,” McGregor tweeted along with a cropped image of Cormier at UFC 265.

McGregor’s hate for former lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov has apparently extended to his former American Kickboxing Academy teammate Cormier. McGregor has been in hot water since falling to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 via doctor’s stoppage, as he has posted a series of concerning and outright vicious tweets on his page taking aim at Poirier, and most recently Nurmagomedov.

Conor McGregor has an apparent dislike for Daniel Cormier,  stemming from his beef with Khabib Nurmagomedov

McGregor has quickly veered away from the ‘nice guy’ mantra that he portrayed ahead of his second fight with Poirier at UFC 257. McGregor quickly changed his approach and has even gone so far as to insult Poirier’s wife, along with Nurmagomedov’s children.

After suffering a nasty leg break at UFC 264, McGregor is currently in the middle of recovery from the injury and will miss the rest of 2021. He’s currently targeting a fight sometime in 2022, which could possibly come in the fourth fight against Poirier.

For now, it appears that McGregor is content taking shots at MMA personalities around the sport who he has a strong disdain for, including Cormier who has transitioned nicely from his legendary combat sports career to his current gig on the UFC broadcast team.
