The release of Concord is getting closer and closer, so the developers have decided to release the roadmap they intend to follow regarding the progressive launch of the game’s contents.
Concord will have a lot to prove, especially after a rather timid reception after the beta that was made available to players in the past few weeks. For this reason, with the release of the Concord roadmap, the developers hope that it can create some sort of anticipation around the game, which will make players decide to give it a chance.
Concord Roadmap
As often happens for this type of game in which the progressive addition of content is the basis of the structure of the game itself, even in Concord the developers have prepared a roadmap in which different periods and the content that we can expect for that specific period are indicated. First of all, even before proceeding, we tell you that the development team has decided to divide the game into different seasons, as in the most classic of examples.
As we can see from the infographic that is present further down in the article. on the day of the launch of Concord (set for August 23 on PC and PlayStation 5), it will be composed of six different modes that players can take part in and 12 maps. In addition, you will be able to choose between 16 different characters with 8 variants. Obviously, participating in the various game modes will allow you to obtain different rewards based on different factors. But let’s see what are the contents that will have to arrive later.
Season 1
Concord Season 1 will start in October, although there is no specific date yet. With the start of Season 1, the developers will make additions to the game, both in terms of content and technical aspects. A new character, a new map, new variants, new cosmetics and rewards, new vignettes, etc. will be added. In addition, some quality of life improvements will also be made.
Season 2
Season 2, on the other hand, will start in January, again without a specific date. In this season, as in the previous one, we will see the same additions and fixes at a technical level, with the difference that the developers have already announced that they also intend to release a new game mode.
Season 3
As for Season 3, however, we don’t have any details about it yet, we only know that it will start in April. Obviously, the developers will continue to update this roadmap over time and consequently we will update the article to keep you informed about everything regarding this new hero shooter from Firewalk Studios.
