Habit Kingdom is a new, unique mobile game that combines battling monsters with completing your real-life to-do list. The concept is simple and engaging. It’s created by Light Arc Studio with the aim of gamifying the player’s life.

So, What Exactly Is Habit Kingdom?

Every time you check off a task in real life, you take an action in the game. Whether it’s attacking a monster, hatching an egg or saving a town, your progress in Habit Kingdom mirrors your productivity in the real world.

Habit Kingdom starts with you camping when the Kingdom is suddenly overrun by monsters. On your second day, you come across an egg. It’s your first step into a world where daily habits turn into an adventure.

Completing tasks fuels the gameplay in Habit Kingdom. Hearts, the in-game currency, are earned by saving towns, which then produce more hearts daily based on how consistent you are with playing. The longer your streak, the bigger your towns grow, and the more resources you’ll have.

Hatching eggs in the game is quite exciting. Once you find an egg, you can use a magic star to start the hatching process. The tasks required to hatch it vary; they might be regular daily tasks or one-off goals.

As you complete the tasks, the egg cracks, eventually revealing the monster inside. While the egg’s colour doesn’t affect the monster’s type, the anticipation of discovering what’s inside keeps things interesting.

There Are Many Ways to Track Your Productivity

Magic stars are a rare and valuable premium currency in Habit Kingdom. You can earn them through achievements or by completing special tasks called League of Nations. The stars can be used to hatch eggs faster, level up your character or buy cosmetic items from shopkeepers you rescue during your journey.

The battles can injure your monsters but healing them is straightforward. You’ll need hearts to restore their health. Higher-level monsters take more damage and require more hearts to recover.

I think Habit Kingdom is quite fun. By turning chores into game actions and progress, it encourages you to tackle tasks you might otherwise procrastinate on. So, grab the game from the Google Play Store; it’s free to play.
