Let’s take a look at all the Vortex War’s Domain Rewards in CoD MW3
Activision is kicking off 2024 with a bag. Players have been treated with a new limited-time event called The Vortex: War’s Domain in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The event is a scary apocalyptic-themed adventure, including revamped maps, weapons, and game modes. Alongside all this content, the developers have added numerous rewards for players to earn, like animated camo’s. These can be obtained through Multiplayer, Warzone, and Zombies. Since players can get the new rewards by playing whichever mode they enjoy the most, the feedback has been very positive for this event.
So, let’s take a look at all the obtainable rewards for the Vortex War’s Domain Event.
What is the Vortex War’s Domain in CoD MW3
This is a limited-time event in Modern Warfare 3, which started on January 3 and will end on January 17. The event has its own game mode and offers many cosmetic rewards. More details about the event can be found in the game in the Challenges tab. After clicking there, you can switch to the Events menu and see all the information about the ongoing in-game events.
How to Earn Rewards
This has a similar progression to previous events in the game. If you have played any of the preseason events then you will be familiar with the system. It is basically a linear track where each level has some rewards that can be earned. There are about 15 levels, so we can safely say that there are 16 rewards that can be obtained from the event progression,

You can progress upwards by earning XP. The more XP you earn, the faster you will go up the track. You can earn XP by playing whichever game mode you enjoy most, like we said before. Warzone, Zombies, or even regular Multiplayer games, every mode rewards XP which goes into the event.
So think of this as a passive reward system, where you can get some pretty cool items by just normally playing the game. Most of the community has greatly appreciated this approach by Activision.
All Event Rewards
As we have already said, there are 15 levels to the event. Each level has something that can be obtained. These rewards are mostly cosmetic items like Decals, Charms, or Camo’s. There are some boosting items like Double XP tokens for the Battle pass or Double Weapons XP tokens. Here’s a list of all the rewards that are available in the event right now:
- “The Goat” weapon sticker – 7,500 XP
- Double XP token – 16,500 XP
- “Through the Smoke” large decal – 27,000 XP
- Double weapon XP token – 39,000 XP
- “Ghost Fire” charm – 53,500 XP
- “Skull Fire” large decal – 71,000 XP
- “Volcanic” emblem – 91,000 XP
- “A Little Rusty” calling card – 115,000 XP
- Double battle pass XP token – 145,000 XP
- “Winged Fire” weapon sticker – 176,500 XP
- Double XP token – 215,500 XP
- “Forged in Flames” calling card – 262,000 XP
- “Putrid Skulls” weapon sticker – 317,000 XP
- Double weapon XP token – 381,500 XP
- “Magma” weapon camo – 458,500 XP

The final reward in the event is a new animated camo called the “Magma” weapons camo. There are a lot of levels to cross before you reach the final reward. It is wise to use some Double XP tokens to quickly complete the whole thing so that you can reach the Magma Camo faster.
