A new rookie enters the League.

After the Florida Mutineers released Josiah “Slacked” Berry last week, we’ve been expecting a replacement substitute to join the roster ever since. Today, the Mutineers announced that 18-year-old Christian “Yeez” Faircloth will be joining the roster as the new substitute player.

Challengers to Pro League in a single season

Yeez began his professional Call of Duty career this season when he turned 18 on November 25. Going from Challengers to the pro league in one season is an astonishing feat, so how did he do it?

His Black Ops Cold War season began competing with some lesser-known players. However, a top 16 placing with his squad got him a spot with ACHES, Lacefield and Maux, three well-known players who all have an eye for talent. Following a Challengers Cup with them, Yeez landed himself a spot on uT Crew. Throughout the year, Yeez and uT Crew secured multiple 2nd places but were unable to win a Challengers event. However, following a move to Lore Gaming for the most recent events, Yeez managed to pick up 1st place in the Stage 5 Challengers Elite Playoffs.

Yeez joins the Florida Mutineers as a substitute player ahead of the Stage 5 Major. While we don’t expect to see him this year, he’s a bright prospect heading into 2022.
