Here are our final updated Power Rankings for the 2021 season.

The 2021 Call of Duty League regular season has already come to an end. In what seems like a matter of only a few months, we’ve completed the regular season and only have Champs left in 2021. However, following an extraordinary Major 5, here are our updated Power Rankings.

12. Los Angeles Guerrillas (-)

The Los Angeles Guerrillas have had a season to forget in 2021. While they appeared to be a top-six team at the start of the year, and managed to take down Atlanta FaZe, the latter half of 2021 has been a struggle for the Guerrillas. Unable to win a series in Stage 5, they finished the season on a seven-game loss streak and will simply be looking to remain in the League next year.

11. Paris Legion (-1)

Paris Legion was unfortunately not on top form at the Major, and a 1-3 loss to Seattle Surge saw them leave the Major as quick as they entered it. However, they can head into the off-season with some confidence, especially Zaptius who made an excellent impression and thoroughly deserves a spot in the League next year.

10. London Royal Ravens (-1)

The Call of Duty League stage, set for a match between the London Royal Ravens and Seattle Surge, awaits the players arrival to their team booths

Following a devastating 0-3 loss to Seattle Surge, the Royal Ravens were instantly knocked out of Major 5. However, with some excellent rookies in Afro and PaulEhx on their roster, they’ll want to secure these players for next year.

9. Florida Mutineers (-2)

Travis "Neptune" McCloud slumps over in front of a line of computers after a devastating loss at the CDL Stage 5 Major.

The Florida Mutineers have struggled against NYSL all year, and they suffered the same fate once again with a reverse sweep from NYSL sending them home at Major 5. The Mutineers have the foundations of a great roster, and we may see Yeez come into the squad to experiment at Champs.

8. New York Subliners (-)

The young roster of NYSL unfortunately left the Major following defeat to the LA Thieves, however their victories over LAG and the Mutineers can give them confidence heading into Major 5. HyDra is a major component of this squad, and he needs to individually be at his best at Champs as they take on OpTic in Game One.

7. LA Thieves (-1)

The LA Thieves looked strong at Major 5 as they reached game five against Toronto Ultra, and defeated NYSL 3-1. However, a 1-3 defeat to Dallas Empire saw them sent home earlier than they would have wanted. Heading into Champs, LA Thieves will only get stronger, and we expect them to make a good run.

6. Seattle Surge (+5)

Seattle Surge makes the largest jump in our Power Rankings following an incredible 3-2 victory over Atlanta FaZe in Major 5. While we expected Surge to improve on LAN, it was Classic’s unbelievable rise that was unexpected and ultimately led to the demise of FaZe. However, Surge will not be attending Champs this year, so this was the last we see of them in Cold War.

5. Dallas Empire (-3)

Dallas Empire struggled at Major 5 as they were unable to maintain the quality of their Major 4 performances. However, heading into Champs, they have a great foundation and will undoubtedly have a great chance at the title.

4. OpTic Chicago (+1)

OpTic Chicago made a great run at Major 5, however, two defeats to Toronto Ultra saw them unfortunately sent home in third place. As OpTic prepares for Champs, they have a hard bracket, but will without a doubt be up for the challenge.

3. Atlanta FaZe (-2)

The Call of Duty League Stage 5 Major stage is lit up in a myriad of red lights with the Atlanta FaZe logo and team on monitors.

Following defeats to Minnesota ROKKR and Seattle Surge, Atlanta FaZe were unable to make Major Sunday for the first time this season, and the first time in over three years for Simp and aBeZy. This was a Major to forget, and they’ll need to rebound for Champs.

2. Toronto Ultra (+1)

An unfortunate Major Final saw Toronto Ultra unable to win 2 Majors this year, and head into Champs extremely deflated. However, this Toronto team is more resilient than many, and we fully expect them to be back to their best at Champs.

1. Minnesota ROKKR (+4)

Eli "Standy" Bentz appears with the words "Player of the Stage" above him and stats from Stage 5 of the Call of Duty League with him.

Minnesota ROKKR made Call of Duty history as they completed a best-of-nine reverse sweep in the Grand Final at Major 5. This was an incredible Major for ROKKR and specifically Standy, who will be full of confidence heading into Champs, and possibly favorites to win it.
