The Farm 51 has announced that its upcoming survival horror RPG, Chernobylite, will be bringing the horrors of the Exclusion Zone to Xbox on September 7th alongside a special physical edition. We’ve been covering Chernobylite’s journey for a little while now, patiently waiting to find out when we can enter The Farm 51’s iteration of the Exclusion Zone and face off against the horrors that dwell there. Now we have confirmation that entry into the zone is almost here, and that players will be able to play the game digitally from September 7th on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S via backwards compatibility for £29.99/$34.99/€34.99. Chernobylite will also hit retailers as a physical edition on September 7th in North America and September 10th in Europe for the same price as digital and includes a physical map of the Exclusion Zone, postcards, “The Art of Chernobylite” digital artbook, and more. “It’s humbling to see how Chernobylite’s original concept, an interactive VR documentary, has become a full-blown video game, soon to be available across a variety of platforms,” says The Farm 51’s director of development, Wojciech Pazdur. “We can’t wait for people to start exploring the hauntingly beautiful recreation of the real-world Chernobyl Exclusion Zone.”Will you be heading into the Exclusion Zone in search of your lost love when Chernobylite hits Xbox on September 7th?
