Here are our updated Call of Duty League Power Rankings.
Week 2 of Stage 4 has continued with the same great matches we saw in Week 1. With some underdogs proving they can fight, and the top dogs still dominating, here are our updated Power Rankings after Stage 4 Week 2.
12. Seattle Surge (-)
Now matching the longest losing streak in COD League history at 10, Seattle Surge has suffered this year. A 3-0 defeat to Atlanta FaZe, and 3-1 to Minnesota ROKKR saw them completely dominated in Week 2, and showing no signs of improvement.
11. Los Angeles Guerrillas (-)
While they had a tough week of matches, the LA Guerrillas were unable to win a series and suffered a defeat at the hands of former teammate, Vivid, and the Florida Mutineers. The Guerrillas looked uncompetitive, and they’ll need to improve if they want to make a run for Top Eight.
10. London Royal Ravens (-1)
London only played one match this week, and it was over in a flash. A 3-0 defeat to Toronto Ultra sees them sit with no wins in Stage 4, and the Subliners and Guerrillas yet to play. If they can win these matches, they could get some momentum going into the Major, which is needed if they want to make Champs.
9. Paris Legion (+1)
A 3-1 victory over the LA Thieves will be welcomed by Paris Legion fans, as they look greatly improved in Stage 4. While they fell 3-1 to OpTic Chicago later in the week, Paris looked competitive, and they could be a dark horse in the run down to champs.
8. LA Thieves (-2)
LA Thieves fall down to eighth after only winning one map this week. A 3-1 defeat to Paris Legion, and an almost embarrassing 3-0 defeat to Atlanta FaZe sees their inconsistency shine once again. The Thieves need to find a team that works, as these roster changes seem to do more harm than good.
7. Minnesota ROKKR (+1)
MajorManiak has been a great addition to the squad, and his presence in respawn has been felt. He has dominated in the respawn game modes, and while Priestahh had an off week, MajorManiak and Standy ran the show. The ROKKR looks good, and some momentum could see them challenge at the top.
6. Dallas Empire (+1)
Dallas Empire took down the LA Guerrillas 3-0, before going to a game five against New York. This improvement is what we wanted to see from the Empire, and with Shotzzy returning to his MVP form from last year, they’re heating up just at the right moment.
5. OpTic Chicago (-)
OpTic Chicago took down a hot Paris Legion 3-1, as they dominated the Hardpoints. Dashy seems to be shooting straighter than ever, and his ability to stay alive and go on streaks does wonders for OpTic. Heading back to LAN, winning is the only thing on OpTic’s mind.
4. Florida Mutineers (-)
The Florida Mutineers had a great week as they continue to prove they can challenge the teams at the top. While the Sublines clutched up in game five to defeat them 3-2, Florida took a 3-1 win over the Guerrillas, and currently sit 3-1 in Stage 4. The Mutineers are another team looking to take home that Stage 4 Major.
3. New York Subliners (-)
Considering Hydra was ill this week, the Subliners performed great, and taking two game-five wins shows they have the ice needed. Mack has been excellent this week, showing why he deserved his spot on this roster. His dominance with the Krig saw him drop 110 kills in the series against Dallas, with two 40 bombs in the Hardpoints. If Mack can continue like this, New York may be the team to beat.
2. Toronto Ultra (-)
Toronto Ultra has come back from their loss to the Florida Mutineers with a swift 3-0 against London in Week 2. Bance dominated, and it was an all-around great showing from Ultra. With the Guerrillas and NYSL to play next week, they’ll need to be on top form in Week 3.
1. Atlanta FaZe (-)
Atlanta FaZe currently sit with 11 straight map wins as they continue their streak of 3-0 dominance. FaZe made their match against the LA Thieves look like League Play, as they tore through the squad and took home an easy win. Heading into the Major, FaZe looks on top form.
