CD Projekt has just dropped a wave of new information: along with the new Witcher saga of three games, we’re also getting two separate Witcher-related games, including one with multiplayer gameplay as well as single-player.So, CD Projekt Red has decided to turn everyone’s Tuesday upside down with a load of new Witcher info about upcoming games — let’s see what’s been said!CD Projekt has more Witcher games in mind beyond the new sagaSo, we already knew that a new Witcher game would start a new saga for the franchise. According to CD Projekt and CD Prokekt Red, the first game of this new saga (codenamed Polaris) is in pre-production. As we know, it’ll be the first game of a new Witcher trilogy, but what’s interesting is that CD Projekt says all three games will be “aimed to be delivered within a six-year period following the Polaris release.”On top of this, we have Canis Majoris; “a full-fledged Witcher game, separate to the new Witcher saga starting with Polaris,” which will be developed by an external studio including “ex-Witcher veterans.” It will be a “story-driven, single-player open-world RPG set within The Witcher universe.” There’s still more news, however: Project Sirius is the codename for a game developed by The Molasses Flood, set in The Witcher universe. Intriguingly, this will “differ from our past productions, offering multiplayer gameplay on top of a single-player experience including a campaign with quests and a story.” Project Sirius is also in pre-production.
