Activision has pulled images of a planned fluffy dog skin for Call of Duty Warzone after the design was hit by plagiarism claims from concept artist and Call of Duty aficionado, Sail Lin.Lin originally updated their own dog skin design to Artstation back in December 2019, and posted on Twitter that he is “very disappointed to see my work being plagiarised by a big company like Activision in this way.”The Call of Duty Warzone skin, known as Loyal Samoyed, was planned for the Kim Tao Young Operator and was posted as part of a blog post last week. However, that’s now been edited to remove the offending pooch outfit. Lin says his original design was called “Samoye Medical” and shares various similarities with Activision’s version beyond being the same breed of canine.Related Content – Sony PS5 Complete Guide – Everything Explained On PlayStation 5 For New UsersCall of Duty Warzone was released in March 2020 for PS4, PC, and Xbox One as a free-to-play battle royale companion to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019).Since then, the game has been assimilated into the likes of Call of Duty: Black Ops – Cold War and Call of Duty: Vanguard, and a full sequel is currently pencilled in for release in the months following the release of this year’s premium entry, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II.[Source – Eurogamer]
