Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Squid Game Update Has Gone Live

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone are celebrating the release of Squid Game Season 2 with some brand new content. Players can unlock several new rewards and play new limited time game modes based on the hit Netflix show.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 celebrates Squid Game Season 2’s release with new content

The Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone crossover with Squid Game is live right now. PlayStation players will have to download a 2.6 GB update before earning all those themed rewards and partaking in the limited time modes.

There are a total of five limited time modes available to check out. Here are all the new themed modes available:

Red Light, Green Light (Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Multiplayer)

Pentathlon (Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Multiplayer)

Squid Game Moshpit (Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Multiplayer)

Dead Light, Green Light (Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies)

Squid Game (Call of Duty: Warzone)

As players earn XP in Warzone, Multiplayer, or Zombies, they can unlock rewards based on Squid Game with the Event Pass. The free track has some solid rewards including the instantly unlockable Player 006 Operator Skin. For 1100 CoD Points, the premium track features some weapon blueprints, a gun skin, and the Front Man Operator.

A few Squid Game Tracer Packs that feature themed Operator Skins and weapon blueprints. This includes the Pink Guards Tracer Pack, The VIPs Tracer Pack, and Young-hee Tracer Pack.

The limited time Squid Game event will be live through January 24, 2025, at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is currently part of the PS Store Holiday Sale. The standard cross-gen bundle is $52.49 and the Vault Edition is $79.99. Call of Duty: Warzone is free for all PlayStation platforms.
