More Call of Duty achievements are on the way as Activision has now officially announced the next game in the Xbox first-person shooter series. Activision says Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is a “dark new chapter of the Black Ops franchise” and that a full reveal will follow after the Xbox Games Showcase on June 9. A previous report suggested this year’s Call of Duty will be set during the Gulf War, and that looks to be correct. The folks over at CharlieIntel spotted the word “gulf” in one of the new teaser images from Activision. Treyarch and Raven Software have also confirmed that they are the studios working on Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. We’ll find out more about Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 after the Xbox Games Showcase on June 9 during a special Black Ops 6 direct.
