Ohio State Buckeyes ace recruiter Brian Hartline helped Ryan Day’s staff land one of the top receivers in the 2022 recruiting class.

Hartline is ranked by 247sports as one of the top recruiters in the nation for a reason. On Monday, he and Ohio State got more good news, as they edged out several SEC programs for a four-star wide receiver out of Georgia.

Kojo Antwi, originally from Ghana, is heading to Columbus. His highlight tape jumps off the page alone, but Antwi will join a talented 2022 class filled to the brim with immediate contributors on both sides of the ball.

Five-star wideout Caleb Burton and four-star Kaleb Brown had already committed to OSU. Now, Antwi becomes the third-best wide receiver in the class. And he’s the seventh-best player in the football-rich state of Georgia. Unreal.

Ohio State Buckeyes: Kojo Antwi commits to Brian Hartline and Ryan Day

“Coach Hart is a very genuine guy,” Antwi said. “He’s all about details when he’s coaching, and that’s what I love about him. He was so real with me, straight up the whole time. I got to hang out with Emeka and Jaxon Smith-Njigba the most, but the whole receiver room was cool. I had a chat with almost all of them. It’s so much about being a family there.”

Antwi was also deciding between Georgia and Texas A&M, but a late push from Ohio State made his decision an easy one.

The Buckeyes remain the top-ranked class for 2022.
