Borderlands 3 gears up to celebrate second anniversary with five weeks of mini-events

Borderlands 3 is preparing for its second anniversary in September with five weeks of mini-events, starting today with Loot the Universe.”Two years since launch and Borderlands 3 is still going strong, all thanks to you — the Borderlands community,” the devs say. “Each week during Loot the Universe, Borderlands 3’s planets will take turns becoming a bastion of better drops, with specific types of Legendary loot having increased chances of dropping in one of that planet’s zones.” Loot the Universe runs from August 12th to September 9th, with Pandora in Week One from August 12th to the 19th, Promethea in Week Two from the 19th to the 26th, Eden-6 in Week Three from August 26th to September 2nd, and Nekrotafeyo in Week Four, from September 2nd to the 9th.Following Loot the Universe will be Mayhem Made Mild and Show Me the Eridium, both of which run from September 9th to the 16th. In Mayhem Made Mild, you’ll only encounter Easy modifiers in Mayhem Mode, while Show Me the Eridium “grants increased Eridium drops and Eridium item discounts.” The devs hint that more is planned for the anniversary itself on September 13th.
