Bomani Jones feels awful for anybody who has to play the Alabama football team these days.

On ESPN’s Highly Questionable, Bomani Jones tells everybody to stop scheduling these non-conference games vs. the Alabama football program in the first week of the season.

No matter the opponent, Alabama runs roughshod over whoever they line up against. Jones referred to the Crimson Tide making mincemeat of HBCU teams like the school he once attended. However, Alabama just thoroughly dismantled the Miami Hurricanes, a team many people thought had a realistic shot of winning the ACC Coastal.

Alabama has retained the top spot in the AP Top 25 poll heading into Week 2’s slate of games.

Bomani Jones feels terrible for any team that ever has to play Alabama in Week 1

Even though the Crimson Tide will face strong competition in SEC play, Miami will probably be a top-25-caliber team throughout the season, and they just took the Hurricanes to the woodshed.

While Alabama is probably not going to push around the likes of Ole Miss, Texas A&M or even Georgia quite like this, their complete domination of Miami speaks volumes of how good they are.

This was supposed to be a promising year for Miami football, and Alabama has removed all hope.
