We’re here to talk you through how to obtain the Blox Fruits Draco Race, the different stages of progression, and the buffs you get from each.

Blox Fruits Draco Race Guide
Draco is a race introduced in Update 24. I’ll start by explaining how you can get it, and then how to progress it.
How To Obtain Draco
To get the Draco race, you need to complete the following steps.
- Visit the Dojo Trainer NPC on Hydra Island inside the Dragon Dojo and get the Black Belt. To do this, you need to collect 3 Dinosaur Bones from the Prehistoric Island.
- Once that is done, speak to the Dragon Wizard in the Dragon Dojo to learn the Dragon Tether ability.
- From there, make your way to Prehistoric Island and complete the Volcano Eruption Event. Dragon Eggs should spawn at the end of the event.
- If you’ve made it this far, congratulations! Luckily, there isn’t much left. Speak to the Dragon Wizard again and he will give you the Draco race in exchange for a Dragon Egg.
Draco Race Stages And Progression
Now let’s take a look at how to progress! If you have the Draco race by following the steps below, you will have V1. With this stage, you will get a 5% Damage Reduction and a 5% Health Boost, alongside a cosmetic pair of horns.
V2 Stage
To obtain Draco v2, speak to the Dragon Wizard who will give you the task of finding x5 Fire Flowers. If you aren’t sure where to find them, check out the guide linked above. After you have collected them all, speak to him again and pay $1,000,000 (and of course, give the x5 Fire Flowers). You will get V2 straight away.
Once you have v2, you will obtain wings that let you fly for 5 seconds by using fire. It will also cause burn damage to enemies within range.
V3 Stage
To progress again, talk to the Dragon Wizard, He will ask you to kill a Terroshark. You can find these in Sea Danger Levels 2-6 in the Third Sea, where they spawn at random. After you defeat one, head back to the Dragon Wizard and speak to him. He will sell the V3 Stage for $3,000,000.
If you have V3, you will get the Primordial Reign ability. This buffs both you and your teammate’s damage by 15%. It also debuffs any opponents within range. Even better? You get a pair of horns! They don’t do anything, but they look cool.
V4 Stage
First things first, you need to craft both the Dragonstorm and Dragonheart from the Dragon Hunter. To unlock the recipes, you need the Red Belt. Check out the guide linked above on how to get it!
Here are the recipes (but keep in mind you still need the Red Belt):
- Dragonstorm
- x30 Blaze Ember
- x10 Dinosaur Bones
- x5 Dragon Scales
- x2 Dragon Eggs
- Dragonheart
- x15 Blaze Embers
- x6 Dinosaur Bones
- x1 Dragon Egg
Once you have crafted both, get them to mastery level 500 to light the green and yellow lanterns.
Now, you must defeat the Leviathan raid boss and obtain a Leviathan Heart. After you get it, head to Hydra Island and drive your boat into the waterfall to freeze the island. Once everything is frozen (and cold!) speak to the Dragon Wizard and light the lanterns to open the vault.
If you enter a vault, you will get a notification telling you to visit the Prehistoric Island and enter the trial room. You can find this in the Volcano Room, where you can speak to the Statue NPC to begin the trial. To complete this you must put x3 relics in the correct pedestals by matching them.
Congratulations if you’ve made it this far! If you pass the trial, you will be teleported back to the Dojo Trainer. Interact with the Hearth to pick up an Ember. This will unlock the V4 Stage!
With V4, you’ll receive max stats, and your health, regen, speed, and damage all increase by 10% too. Alongside this, you get ‘Dragon Pride’, which buffs nearby allies. You also obtain ‘Thorn Mail’, which allows you to reflect damage to the enemy who damaged you first. Although they don’t do anything, you get horns and a dragon tail.
